Zaiwalla & Co ranked in The Legal 500 UK 2026 for Commodities Disputes
Zaiwalla & Co is pleased to announce that the firm has, for the first time, been ranked in The Legal 500 UK 2026 for Commodities Disputes.
This recognition reflects the firm’s longstanding involvement in GAFTA arbitrations on behalf of clients across South Asia and the Middle East. Notably, we are instructed by ITC Limited, a $9bn Indian conglomerate and one of the country’s largest fast-moving consumer goods companies, in all of its GAFTA arbitrations.
The ranking also reflects our Supreme Court success in Sharp v Viterra BV, a significant commodities dispute which has further reinforced the firm’s reputation in this area.
The practice is led by Leigh Crestohl, with important contributions from Varun Zaiwalla and Daniel Powell, who continue to strengthen the firm’s expertise in commodities disputes.
We are grateful to our clients and peers for their feedback during the Legal 500 research process and are proud to see our work recognised in this category.
In addition to this new ranking, Zaiwalla & Co continues to be recognised in Commercial Litigation: Mid-Market, International Arbitration, and Banking Litigation: Investment and Retail.
